Barrabas en On the road again

Barrabas en On the road again

Another way,
another road,
another act,
another show -
Another love,
another dream,
another song for us to sing.

There you are, here I am.
What can I do to make you mine?
It be so nice to be with you
to spend the night -

On the road,
on the road,
on the road again,
On the road,
on the road,
on the road again,

We're on the road,
on the road,
on the road again,
On the road,
on the road,
on the road again,
here we go.

Another way,
another road,
another act,
another show - . . .
Give me your time,
give me your love
to get me ready to be yours.

Be so nice to be with you
to spend the night -

On the road,
on the road, on the road again, . . .

Another way, another road,
another act, another show - . . .
There you are, here I am.
What can I do to make you mine? . . .

On the road, on the road, on the road again, . . .
Road,
road,
on the road again - road,
road, on the road again,
Road, road,
on the road again - road, road,
on the road again, . .

Bob Dylan en Hurricane

Bob Dylan en Hurricane

Pistol shots ring out in the barroom night
enter patty valentine from the upper hall.
she sees the bartender in a pool of blood,
cries out, "my god, they killed them all!"
here comes the story of the hurricane,
the man the authorities came to blame
for somethin' that he never done.
put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
the champion of the world.
Three bodies lyin' there does patty see
and another man named bello, movin' around mysteriously.
"i didn't do it," he says, and he throws up his hands
"i was only robbin' the register, i hope you understand.
i saw them leavin'," he says, and he stops
"one of us had better call up the cops."
and so patty calls the cops
and they arrive on the scene with their red lights flashin'
in the hot new jersey night.

Meanwhile, far away in another part of town
rubin carter and a couple of friends are drivin' around.
number one contender for the middleweight crown
had no idea what kinda shit was about to go down
when a cop pulled him over to the side of the road
just like the time before and the time before that.
in paterson that's just the way things go.
if you're black you might as well not show up on the street
'less you wanna draw the heat.
Alfred bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops.
him and arthur dexter bradley were just out prowlin' around
he said, "i saw two men runnin' out, they looked like middleweights
they jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates."
and miss patty valentine just nodded her head.
cop said, "wait a minute, boys, this one's not dead"
so they took him to the infirmary
and though this man could hardly see
they told him that he could identify the guilty men.
Four in the mornin' and they haul rubin in,
take him to the hospital and they bring him upstairs.
the wounded man looks up through his one dyin' eye
says, "wha'd you bring him in here for? he ain't the guy!"
yes, here's the story of the hurricane,
the man the authorities came to blame
for somethin' that he never done.
put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
the champion of the world.
Four months later, the ghettos are in flame,
rubin's in south america, fightin' for his name
while arthur dexter bradley's still in the robbery game
and the cops are puttin' the screws to him, lookin' for somebody to blame.
"remember that murder that happened in a bar?"
"remember you said you saw the getaway car?"
"you think you'd like to play ball with the law?"
"think it might-a been that fighter that you saw runnin' that night?"
"don't forget that you are white."
Arthur dexter bradley said, "i'm really not sure."
cops said, "a poor boy like you could use a break
we got you for the motel job and we're talkin' to your friend bello
now you don't wanta have to go back to jail, be a nice fellow.
you'll be doin' society a favor.
that sonofabitch is brave and gettin' braver.
we want to put his ass in stir
we want to pin this triple murder on him
he ain't no gentleman jim."
Rubin could take a man out with just one punch
but he never did like to talk about it all that much.
it's my work, he'd say, and i do it for pay
and when it's over i'd just as soon go on my way
up to some paradise
where the trout streams flow and the air is nice
and ride a horse along a trail.
but then they took him to the jailhouse
where they try to turn a man into a mouse.
All of rubin's cards were marked in advance
the trial was a pig-circus, he never had a chance.
the judge made rubin's witnesses drunkards from the slums
to the white folks who watched he was a revolutionary bum
and to the black folks he was just a crazy nigger.
no one doubted that he pulled the trigger.
and though they could not produce the gun,
the d.a. said he was the one who did the deed
and the all-white jury agreed.
Rubin carter was falsely tried.
the crime was murder "one," guess who testified?
bello and bradley and they both baldly lied
and the newspapers, they all went along for the ride.
how can the life of such a man
be in the palm of some fool's hand?
to see him obviously framed
couldn't help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land
where justice is a game.
Now all the criminals in their coats and their ties
are free to drink martinis and watch the sun rise
while rubin sits like buddha in a ten-foot cell
an innocent man in a living hell.
that's the story of the hurricane,
but it won't be over till they clear his name
and give him back the time he's done.
put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been
the champion of the world.

Arthur Dexter Bradley dijo: “Realmente no estoy seguro”
Verlo tan obviamente entrampado

Can´t get enough of your love babe -Barry White

Can´t get enough of your love babe -Barry White -

(spoken)
i've heard people say that
too much of anything is not good for you, baby
oh no
but i don't know about that
there's many times that we've loved
we've shared love and made love
it doesn't seem to me like it's enough
there's just not enough of it
there's just not enough
oh oh, babe
(sung)
my darling, i can't get enough of your love babe
girl, i don't know, i don't know why
can't get enough of your love babe
oh, some things i can't get used to
no matter how i try
just like the more you give, the more i want
and baby, that's no lie
oh no, babe
Tell me, what can i say?
what am i gonna do?
how should i feel when everything is you?
what kind of love is this that you're givin' me?
is it in your kiss or just because you're sweet?
Girl, all i know is every time you're here
i feel the change
somethin' moves
i scream your name
do whatcha got to do (?)
Darling, i can't get enough of your love babe
girl, i don't know, i don't know, i don't know why
i can't get enough of your love babe
oh no, babe
Girl, if i could only make you see
and make you understand
girl, your love for me is all i need
and more than i can stand
oh well, babe
How can i explain all the things i feel?
you've given me so much
girl, you're so unreal
still i keep loving you
more and more each time
girl, what am i gonna do
because you blow my mind
I get the same old feelin' every time you're here
i feel the change
somethin' moves
i scream your name
do whatcha got to do (?)
Darling, i can't get enough of your love babe
oh no, babe
(spoken)
baby, let me take all of my life to find you
but you can believe it's gonna take the rest of my life to keep you
(sung)
oh no, babe
my darling, i can't get enough of your love babe
yeah, i don't know, i don't know, i don't know why
can't get enough of your love babe
oh my darling, i can't get enough of your love babe
oh babe
i don't know, i don't know, i don't know why
i can't get enough of your love babe
oh babe

Cat Stevens in Wild World

Cat Stevens in Wild World

Now that i've lost everything to you,
you say you want to start something new,
and it's breaking my heart you're leaving,
baby i'm grieving.
But if you wanna leave take good care,
hope you have a lot of nice things to wear,
but then a lot of nice things turn bad out there.
Oh baby baby it's a wild world,
it's hard to get by just upon a smile.
oh baby baby it's a wild world.
I'll always remember you like a child, girl.
you know i've seen a lot of what the world can do,
and it's breaking my heart in two,
cause i never want to see you sad girl,
don't be a bad girl,
but if you want to leave take good care,
hope you make a lot of nice friends out there,
but just remember there's a lot of bad and beware,
beware,
Oh baby baby it's a wild world,
it's hard to get by just upon a smile
oh baby baby it's a wild world,
and i'll always remember you like a child, girl.
Baby i love you, but if you wanna leave take good care,
hope you make a lot of nice friends out there,
but just remember there's a lot of bad,
and beware, beware,
Oh baby baby it's a wild world,
it's hard to get by just upon a smile.
oh baby baby it's a wild world,
and i'll always remember you like a child, girl.

Al Green en Can't take my eyes off you

Al Green en Can't take my eyes off you

You're just to good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I want to hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just to good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

Oh, in the way that I stare
there's nothin' else to compare
the sight of you leaves me weak
there are no words enough to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that it's real
You're just to good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you baby and if it's quite all right
I need you baby to warm a lonely night
I love you baby trust in me when I say
Oh, pretty baby don't bring me down, I pray
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you stay
And let me love you baby, let me love you

You're just to good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you baby and if it's quite all right
I need you baby to warm a lonely night
I love you baby, trust in me when I say

Amy Winehouse en Back to Blanck

Amy Winehouse en Back to Blanck

He left no time to regret
Kept his dick wet
With his same old safe bet
Me and my head high
And my tears dry
Get on without my guy
You went back to what you knew
So far removed from all that we went through
And I tread a troubled track
My odds are stacked
I'll go back to black

We only said good-bye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to.....

I go back to us

I love you much
It's not enough
You love blow and I love puff
And life is like a pipe
And I'm a tiny penny rolling up the walls inside

We only said goodbye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to

Black, black, black, black, black, black, black,
I go back to
I go back to

We only said good-bye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to

We only said good-bye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to black

Yo me morí cien veces
Usted regresa a ella
Y yo regreso a

Negro, negro, negro, negro, negro, negro, negro,
Yo regreso a
Yo regreso a

Nosotros sólo dijimos adiós con las palabras
Yo me morí cien veces
Usted regresa a ella
Y yo regreso a

Nosotros sólo dijimos adiós con las palabras
Yo me morí cien veces
Usted regresa a ella
Y yo regreso al negro

Nuestro sentidos
